Our new, relaxed, straight theatre event series launches on Feb 20th @ 7pm with our first Table Read - a presentation of Breach Theatre’s “It’s True, It’s True, It’s True”. This FREE event offers audiences the opportunity to watch a cast of performers reading works of drama in a table read environment, with no staging or costume. Attendees are invited to listen to the performance, and are then welcome to stay and participate in small breakout discussions about the text, characters, themes, and how they might stage it themselves. Our fantastic cast (@caikon_bacon @louisesables @samuelabrenda & @denisetreanor) bring their talent and insight, presenting a thought provoking and effecting piece of theatre that will grip you from the first line. ‘It’s True, It’s True, It’s True’ dramatises the real life historical court records of artist Artemisia Gentileschi’s sexual assault case against her tutor.
